After the wonderful success of our Winter Workshop where we had so much fun making a Christmas Wreath, I have decided to start doing Seasonal Workshops throughout the year. They are very informal and a chance to relax and learn a new skill whilst meeting some lovely people. We talked and laughed a lot in the last ones and we all left saying 'how much better we felt'!
The date for your diary is Thursday 23rd February in The Old Town Hall in Midhurst. Arrive for 9.45 for a coffee and pastry and then I will demonstrate 'creating a Spring Bowl' with a selection of cut flowers and foliages
Bring your own bowl to create in along with your scissors ...
Email email@example.com to book your space ..
The season has started early this year with weddings in January, it has been amazing creating again but also freezing cold!
The first wedding was at Hurstpierpoint College Chapel and then on to Pangdean Barn, Pyecombe. A very grand backdrop for the whites and crimsons with garden roses and lots of greens. The barn was filled with Silver Candelabras with beautiful white candles and bundles of greens, whites and reds, it was looked magical and one of my favourite weddings.
Today we headed to Worth Abbey and then on to Brookfield Barn near Horsham. We created woodland flowers on wood rounds with Spring Flowers including Hellebores, Roses, Ranunculus, Anemones and lots of Eucalyptus.
Looking forward to filling The Country Brocante Store in the next couple of weeks with new things old and new ... We will also be announcing our first 'Wild Willow Workshop' of the year, I will send out the date shortly
Wild Willow is moving into a large workshop for 2017 which is so exciting for me and the team. Last year was such a busy year and we loved working from The Country Brocante but we have outgrown our workshop and needed more room for all our props and new exciting plans for 2017
Our new workshop is based on a dairy farm in the heart of the Sussex Countryside, it is a heaven location and will give us a chance to grow
We will also be introducing more 'Seasonal Flower Workshops' after our Christmas Workshop which was such a hit and I feel these can really grow and become a big part of the Wild Willow offering. They were a great chance to be creative but it was also lovely to be around like minded people and we all talked and laughed for the whole time we made wreaths together. I am already looking forward to seeing you all again in 2017, so subscribe to keep updated with our schedule of events both at Wild Willow and The Country Brocante Store and Fairs www.thecountrybrocante.co.uk
